  8.                                  ARCHIVE TESTING

  11.      TriBBS can optionally scan archives, EXEs, and COMs for viruses.  This
  12.      feature is enabled with the Waiting for Caller Screen's Configure
  13.      System menu.  If upload testing is enabled, TriBBS will call MacAfee's
  14.      SCAN.EXE program to scan the contents of the upload.  Accordingly
  15.      SCAN.EXE, must be in your PATH.  Additionally, TriBBS requires the
  16.      following decompression utilities to be in your PATH to be able to
  17.      test archives:

  27.      IMPORTANT: If TriBBS isn't able to find SCAN.EXE or the proper
  28.      decompression utility, the upload will NOT be tested. If an upload
  29.      fails the virus scan, it will be immediately deleted.  Be aware that
  30.      SCAN.EXE is not infallible.  It is perhaps the best utility of its
  31.      kind, but no virus scanner is perfect.
